The AUTO S.O.S. company began to exist in 2001, in Cluj-Napoca town, with the aim of helping the car drivers, that find themselves in dificulty, by offering them services of towing and traction on the platform.
   We began our activity with a jeep and a van specialized for motor transportation (the platform) with the possibility to towing the vehicles of a maximum authorized weight of 1,5 tones.
   Dewing to our responsibility and promptness we succeeded to enlarge our requests and, as the customers number was increasing, the year after the foundation (2002) we made the acquisition of the second specialized trailer that was permitting us to transport the vehicles with an authorized maximum weight of 2 tones.
   As the request for our services was increasing, in 2003 we made the acquisition of the first specially assembled motor platform endowed with professional equipment for the recuperation and traction of the vehicles. Following the requests and because the work volume was increasing, we obtained the second one in 2004. In 2005 we renewed the fleet with platforms of a new generation and we obtained a new trailer that permits us the transportation of two vehicles, so, at the moment, we can transport three cars simultaneously.
   At present, in the fleet we have three specialized trucks and four platforms, two of them permitting us the transportation of two cars.
   We perform towing and breakdown services as well as internal and international transportation, especially imports of cars from Germany and other countries.
